Jayde Monk is a physiotherapist with a unique background in both elite dance training and physio. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Physiotherapy from La Trobe University, alongside a Bachelor of Dance from the Victorian College of the Arts and Honours in Dance from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
With extensive experience as a high-level dancer, Jayde has a special interest in dance-specific injuries, particularly foot and ankle conditions. She is passionate about supporting dancers through:
– rehabilitation
– injury prevention
– technique development
– pre-pointe assessments
– audition assessments
Jayde also brings her movement-focused expertise to the broader community, helping individuals of all backgrounds improve strength, movement efficiency, and pain. She has a particular interest in Pilates-informed exercise.
Jayde currently works part-time at Pathways Physiotherapy while also caring for her young family.
