Would you love working in a clinic with a large and spacious gym filled with pilates and strength & conditioning equipment?

If you answered yes to all the above, then you could be the person we’re looking for!

The Role –

Pathways Physiotherapy is looking for a Full time (or 3+ days Part time) Physiotherapist to take over an existing caseload of musculoskeletal clientele. Hands on/Manual Therapy skills are essential. Pilates and experience running GLA:D classes is preferred but not a deal breaker as training can be provided.

The perfect candidate loves private practice, is driven and experienced in building and maintaining a strong client caseload, and is a natural rapport builder.

Our team consists of Physiotherapists, an Exercise Physiologist and a Remedial Massage Therapist, and we’re looking for someone humble, who will collaborate and work with others to ensure the best client outcomes, but who has the confidence to contribute in group case reviews, inservices and team culture days. The ideal candidate will get the opportunity to develop their leadership and mentoring skills within this supportive team environment.

Some evening and weekend (Saturday) work is required, however our roster rotates every 3 months, which gives team members the opportunity to rotate on and off Saturdays. Our therapy team work together to build a roster that prioritises our clients, but that also takes into consideration the work-life balance of each team member.

About Us –

We are a multi-disciplinary private practice that provide physiotherapy, pilates, exercise physiology and massage services to our community.

What we love is to help guide people along their pathway to better health. To inspire, coach and empower people that are suffering from pain or recovering from injury, to become active, healthy and happy.

Our team are passionate about providing rehabilitation and exercise combined with manual therapy, to provide the most effective, tailored and complete treatment plan to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

One of our Core Values is #we-are-lifelong-learners, and we’re fanatical about not only training superstar clinicians but amazing humans. We facilitate both clinical and personal growth via weekly clinical and group case reviews, inservices and 1:1 mentoring. We also run team workshops and culture days to continue to build upon our clinic culture, and create a place we love to come to work.

If you’re looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your career, this is the ideal role to do so in a supportive environment with some of the best mentoring, and an amazing team culture.

The successful applicant will get –

  • Fortnightly one-on-one mentoring to focus on what you want to develop – whether that’s clinical reasoning or clinical skills, leadership and mentoring, or personal development – as well as fortnightly team case reviews to discuss tricky clients and workshop solutions together.
  • The full benefits of employment (not a sole contractor), including an attractive and secure above-AWARD wage or commission package with super and all leave entitlements. We also contribute $1500 to clinical professional development annually for full time employment.
  • A fully stocked Pilates and strength & conditioning gym that has plenty of room to move, and equipment to play with.
  • An amazing team of therapists and support staff who are humble, driven to succeed and willing to help each other;
  • The flexibility to choose your own adaptable work hours in order to treat clients, contribute to team activities, and participate in client attraction and client experience activities.

The ideal candidate will –

  • Love treating clients but be looking for the next step in your career,
  • Have 2+ years of private practice or musculoskeletal experience,
  • Have a passion for combining both manual therapy and exercise / Pilates to achieve optimal client outcomes,
  • Be humble, willing to learn, but also driven to help others succeed.
